How to Backup Wii Games in a Jiffy
Yes, we aren’t kidding and yes it’s possible to not just learn how to backup Wii games quickly but to also find something that would make it easier to do. But first things first, you’d need the right set of tools and the right procedures.
The first most important item in this list that need to be understood is that you need to perform an upgrade manually on your Wii console. This involves cracked software and there are many out there that could be dubious and may even damage your system. Be sure that the source of the crack is trustworthy.
The crack essentially allows your Nintendo Wii to be able to read and access burned disks. It’s easy to procure these cracks but again, you need to be aware of the dangers and the risks involved. With that out of the way, here’s the step by step guide on how to backup Wii games:
• You need to upgrade your Wii using what is called as a “soft mod”. The easiest way you could do this is through a pretty nifty software called EasyBackupWizard. • An interesting quirk in the process is the requirement for getting the Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess. We can’t go into the details as to why this is needed, but you could trust us on this. You need this game because it has a component that makes the mod work perfectly.
• Get an SD Card reader either onboard or as an extension.
• Download the EasyBackup Wizard SD Card Installer.
• Using EasyBackup Wizard SD Card Installer, load the installation process.
• Put the game disk in the CD and the SD card on the SD Card slot on the Wii.
• Access Wii memory management and erase only the game data of Zelda. Note that you should erase only the game data. The next step entails that you do this carefully: Copy the Twilight Hack chainloader to the console and then run the game. This will give you access to a saved file which is really the hack installation file.
• Here’s the fun part! Copy the Wii game images to your computer and burn. Viola! You now have an extra copy.
Note that you should follow these instructions very carefully and that you should be aware that any misstep might damage your system, so know what you’re doing first. A better way to do this would be to scrimp up a very small amount to download EasyBackup Wizard to make the entire process automated.
